The Northeast Michigan Medical Control Authority supervises and coordinates the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system in northeast Michigan. The NEMMCA provides a number of services to local EMS services including the establishment of practice protocols for their constituent agencies and educating physicians and hospital staff on these protocols.
